Levels of Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence is necessary and apparent at several levels:

	At the level of the Particular Moment that emotions are experienced
	At the level of the Role of Leader or Manager
	At the level of the Culture of the Organization

A lot of time and attention is spent on improving one’s ability to become more emotionally intelligent in handling individual, particular moments where emotions are involved.  However, emotional intelligent can and should be developed at the level of the manager, the leader, and the team.  Conceptually and practically emotional intelligence happens at this level.  And, at the level of organizational culture, a lot is revealed about the how emotional information and data available in the organization gets treated.
